What happens if my rental doesn't arrive in time?
Unfortunately items can go missing or be delayed in the post, if this happens no refunds will be offered as this is beyond our control. We get all weekend rentals posted on or before Wednesday, therefore if a rental is subject to postal delays and does not arrive in time there is minimal action we can take.
If you are concerned about your garment not arriving in time please send us an email or DM and we will file an investigation with NZ Post.
Do you offer extended rentals?
Yes! Our rentals usually run on a two day schedule.
We offer extended rentals beyond the regular 2 day rental period at a rate of $5 per each additional day. The extended rental period begins on the day you require the garment, to the day you can return the garment.
Example: You are heading away on a 6 day trip. You will be charged the regular rental price + $20 (4 additional days).

What do I do if my rental doesn't fit?
Unfortunately we cannot offer refunds if a garment doesn't fit as you'd hoped. This is the risk associated with renting. Please refer to the sizing information in our product descriptions, or send us an Instagram message for more information on sizing, we are always happy to help!
In the event of a garment not fitting, please contact us as soon as possible and we will work together towards a solution!
Do you offer try ons?
Yes! We offer in-person try ons. Our try on times are posted weekly and can be located in our 'try ons' highlight on Instagram. Send us a DM on instagram @rents_with_maggie to book.

I've damaged a garment, what do I do?
No worries, these things happen! Please let us know of any damages or stains as soon as possible.

What is the cutoff day for booking rentals?
Local pickup rentals can be booked the day of your event in most cases. For last minute bookings please send us a DM on Instagram.
Postal rentals must be booked before 12pm Wednesday (for a weekend rental). If booked after this time you will not be eligible for a refund or store credit if the garment does not arrive in time.
When will my order be ready for pickup?
Local pickup orders are usually ready for collection from Wednesday (for weekend rentals). You will receive an email as soon as it is ready for you to pickup.
Pickups can be made from 7am-9pm.
I want to cancel my order, do I get a refund?
If your order is cancelled over one week before your booking date you will be reimbursed with a store credit for the value of your order, less 30%.
If you cancel within a week of your booking date no store credit or refund will be offered.
The calendar says 'unavailable'... is the garment booked?
We have an automatic one-day cutoff on our calendar to allow for postal orders. If you are looking to book a garment for an event the next day and it displays 'unavailable' for that day, but 'available' for the following day it is most likely available!
If your chosen garment displays 'unavailable' for 3-4 days following your chosen date then it has been booked by someone else.
